linseed oil

QUESTION:

ive often wondered if i can use linseed oil on limeStone (http://g603.net) , trav, some Granite (http://tanbrown.org) s, to permanently stain or darken (or seal from future stains) a Stone (http://g603.net) .  currently involved in a limeStone (http://g603.net) a customer wants installed in bath, its light and (http://maplered.com) seems to stain (with oil bath products) even if sealed (with Stone (http://g603.net) techs bullet proof) and (http://maplered.com) thought if i just pre-stain it all with linseed oil it could be used.   also is linseed oil an ingredient in some enhancer products? thanks. jason
